About the Opportunity

PrideStaff Portland is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager - Electronic Manufacturing to join our team. This is a direct hire position with competitive pay and benefits.

Salary: Up to $90,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide technical leadership to the Surface Mount Technology department, collaborating with team members to ensure a proactive approach to root cause analysis, problem-solving, and processes that meet evolving customer requirements with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes to produce high complexity Circuit Card Assemblies in the Surface Mount Technology area.
  • Align manufacturing capabilities with customers and technology roadmaps by implementing new technologies to support business opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise to production staff on process operation, improvement, problem-solving, and interpretation of quality standards, process control, and training.
  • Lead projects to improve quality, process control, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Manufacturing or process engineering experience.
  • Experience with PCBA-related processes involving Surface Mount Technology equipment/automation.
  • Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100/ISO13485 certified quality management system.
  • Proficiency in process design and control.
