About the Role

Rise Against Hunger is seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating our meal packing events, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for our volunteers and hosts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute meal packing events, including setup, logistics, and teardown
  • Manage event volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Represent Rise Against Hunger at events, promoting our mission and engaging with volunteers
  • Drive equipment and materials to and from events in a box truck
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event success and volunteer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Age 21 years or older
  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft office suite and other cloud-based software
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to drive a box truck
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and early mornings
  • Resourcefulness to work in different spaces and environments
