About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement plans of care.

Job Description
  • Patient Care: Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of Relationship Centered Care and applying the nursing process based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and organizational standards.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate patient care needs and apply critical thinking skills in patient care management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize all aspects of patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning after hospital care, and delegate tasks as appropriate.

$78.69 - $78.69 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant clinical competence and current registration in New York State.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
  • Basic Life Saver (BLS) certification and PALS certification (in ED; PACU; IR; Peds ICU, and APNs Pediatric Oncology depts.).
