Job Summary:

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children with developmental delays, challenging behaviors, and Autism, providing intensive support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans to address social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
  • Document child progress and milestones, providing regular updates to parents and caregivers
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement behavior change plans and ensure seamless care
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and families, promoting a positive and nurturing environment

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with children with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
