Join Our Team as a Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Active Steps. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in various settings, including homes, schools, and our centers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ABA therapy in a supportive and engaging manner
  • Collaborate with Behavior Analysts to implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Monitor client behavior, document progress, and foster a supportive environment for skill acquisition and behavior reduction
  • Be an integral part of a clinical team dedicated to transforming lives through tailored intervention strategies

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field preferred
  • Complete BTL1 Certification (Program and cost covered by company)
  • Reliable Transportation & Valid Automobile Insurance Required
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Must be physically able to sit on the floor and stand for long periods of time
  • Commitment to a consistent work schedule for at least 6 month intervals
