Responsibilities

We are seeking Pennsylvania Certified Teachers to work in our K-8 classrooms. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children.

As a teacher, you will be part of an educational team consisting of a supervisor and fellow educators, as well as working with a diverse population of students virtually and/or in person. You will work closely with school personnel, program supervisors, and parents, remotely and/or in person.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with school administrators, classroom teachers, and parents; planning and delivering effective instruction; maintaining accurate records; and providing a safe and positive learning environment.

Teachers in these positions will serve Non-Public schools throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area and employees will teach Monday-Friday, during and/or after school hours.

Qualifications
  • Valid State of Pennsylvania Primary or similar teaching certificate required.
  • Classroom teaching experience preferred.
  • Must be comfortable teaching reading and math.
  • Familiarity with various educational technology platforms preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Work location is in a school building where employees will need to be able to go up and down stairs when holding in-person sessions.
  • Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head when holding in-person sessions.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have reliable internet and a working personal computer with updated software and web-camera.
  • Must have hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer, as well as experience using Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Zoom/Meets, and other Ed Tech platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility are preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter and complete basic tasks with minimal supervision.
