Affordable Housing Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Housing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.
- Perform highly diversified duties, including but not limited to: repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances; troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety and security systems; and HVAC systems.
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces, and clean common areas, including sweeping, mopping, and garden/yard upkeep.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company policy and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
- Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
- Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Basic computer skills (email, internet, etc.).
