Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols.
  • Assist with unit turnovers, including performing maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments.
  • Maintain equipment and systems, including proper storage and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rehabilitation and renovation experience.
  • Pool maintenance and repair experience.
  • Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance experience.
  • Carpentry and drywall installation/repair experience.
  • Appliance repair experience.
