Role Summary:
The Custodian role is essential for ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of various facilities, including offices and treatment plants. Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Perform floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, and scrubbing various surfaces; vacuum and extract dirt from carpets.
  • Sanitize and stock facilities such as lunchrooms and restrooms, ensuring cleanliness of all surfaces.
  • Utilize cleaning solutions and chemicals as directed.
  • Dust, wash, and vacuum surfaces; manage waste disposal.
  • Request and manage cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Assist in preparing specifications for cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Understanding of basic cleaning techniques and procedures.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and its maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to demonstrate fairness, respect, and inclusivity in the workplace.
