Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to assist the Property Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of our multi-family communities and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance duties, including electrical, plumbing, drywall, appliance repairs, improvements, and other maintenance duties.
  • Monitor residential communities to ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed to maintain standards for safety, quality, and overall company and tenant satisfaction.
  • Responsible for painting common areas, and necessary staining and cleaning as assigned.
  • Perform sidewalk snow removal for snowfall less than 2 inches.
  • Perform inspections with Property Manager and correct noted deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Implements a preventative maintenance program with the Property Manager's involvement.
  • Repairs and maintains community equipment and the physical structure of the communities they are assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous property management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of property management and marked ability to analyze and respond to site problems.
  • Working knowledge of electricity and considerable mechanical ability to analyze equipment and their function and repair.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality in regards to information and situations.
  • Must have valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Working knowledge of fair housing regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
