About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Bluepeak Advisors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our telecommunication network and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our HFC and fiber networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our network equipment and systems.
  • Test, balance, and adjust components, cables, and equipment to ensure signal quality and integrity.
  • Perform maintenance and testing on HFC network power supplies.
  • Splice and activate fiber optic cables, nodes, transmitters, and receivers.
  • Assist in training activities and provide technical support to colleagues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency fiber restorations.
  • Identify and report incidents of non-compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure system security by following company procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent Bluepeak Advisors in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and working knowledge of HFC or fiber networks.
  • Two years of experience in an installation and repair role, with a related associate's degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
