Emory University Hospital Anesthetist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthetist to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a member of our Surgical Specialties Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including vascular, oncology, and general abdominal surgeries. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' physiological and pharmacological status
  • Assist in research projects as carried out by an Anesthesiologist
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patients prior to, during, and after anesthesia
  • Manage pre- and post-anesthetic care, including ventilator management and other respiratory care parameters
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program. You must also maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs).
