Job Summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Administer general and regional anesthesia to surgical and non-surgical procedure patients
  • Perform initial acute cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in life-threatening situations or as directed by a physician
  • Interpret and record patient's physiological and pharmacological status
  • Assist the Anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patient prior to, during and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Masters Degree program
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia
  • Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
