Emory University Hospital Anesthetist - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled Anesthetists to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our integrated academic healthcare system.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, offering a range of shifts and opportunities for professional growth and development. As an Anesthetist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and support our mission to deliver high-quality, value-based care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, including vascular, surgical oncology, and general abdominal procedures.
  • Collaborate with our Anesthesia Care Team to ensure the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.
  • Supervise student anesthetists and participate in clinical research projects.
  • Interpret and record patient physiological and pharmacological status, and assist the anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data.
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patients prior to, during, and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program.
  • Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs).
