Role Overview:

NBCUniversal's Enterprise Product Team is dedicated to developing products that deliver essential functionalities across the organization. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Ad Sales division's One Platform initiative, a comprehensive strategy aimed at transforming how publishers and advertisers engage.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with a technical focus to lead significant pricing, planning, and advertisement optimization projects within the TV Simplification domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage the overarching product vision, strategy, and success metrics for initiatives related to TV Simplification.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to establish a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Act as a strategic ally to business leaders, articulating technical trade-offs to enhance immediate business value.
  • Create detailed user stories in JIRA, capturing the business context and precise acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that technical solutions comply with organizational standards.
  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to maximize team efficiency and product delivery.
  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring streamlined processes and timely fulfillment of commitments.
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker regarding product features and priorities, balancing business objectives with technical viability.
  • Deliver operational updates to executive leadership, focusing on both tactical and strategic themes.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management or a related technical product management role.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably Computer Science.

Demonstrated ability to establish a compelling vision and lead cross-functional product development teams.

Experience in delivering high-quality software or technical solutions, utilizing agile methodologies.

Strong technical acumen to effectively engage with architects and engineers, guiding technical decision-making.

Experience in the media industry or within an Ad Tech organization is advantageous.

Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, capable of driving concepts from inception to launch.

Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Broad technical knowledge, including expertise in API design, systems integration, CI/CD, release planning, and cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience in Ad Sales Technology, particularly in planning, trafficking, and advertisement optimization.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising and related ad tech platforms.
  • Previous experience in a remote work setting, effectively managing distributed teams.
  • Advanced understanding of technical concepts and emerging trends in software development and technology infrastructure.
Remote Work:

This position is designated as fully remote, allowing contributions from a non-NBCUniversal worksite.

Compensation:

This role is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and various other discounts and perks.

Salary Range:

$150,000 - $175,000 (bonus eligible)
