Position Summary:

The Enterprise Product Team at NBCUniversal is responsible for developing products that deliver essential capabilities across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the Ad Sales division's One Platform strategy, a long-term vision aimed at transforming the transaction processes between publishers and advertisers. We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Lead to manage key pricing, planning, and ad optimization projects within the TV Simplification domain.

As a member of the TV Simplification product team, your responsibilities will include delivering solutions that empower the Ad Sales division to execute audience-based campaigns across both linear and digital platforms. You will oversee the product roadmap, gather and define requirements, manage the backlog, and facilitate overall delivery in collaboration with engineering, product, and strategy teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain the overarching product vision, strategy, and success metrics for initiatives within the TV Simplification domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to outline the product roadmap, ensuring proper prioritization and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, articulating technical trade-offs to maximize immediate business value.
  • Draft detailed user stories in JIRA, encompassing business context and comprehensive acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that technical solutions comply with organizational standards.
  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team performance and product delivery.
  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring efficient processes and timely fulfillment of commitments.
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker regarding product features and priorities, balancing business objectives with technical feasibility.
  • Provide operational updates to executive leadership, considering both tactical and strategic aspects.
Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience in product management or technical product management roles, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish a compelling vision and lead cross-functional product development teams.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality software or technical solutions, utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical background to effectively engage in discussions with architects and engineers, guiding technical decision-making.
  • Familiarity with the media marketplace or experience within an Ad Tech organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, capable of driving initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Ability to work independently, lead projects, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Broad technical knowledge, including proficiency in API design, systems integration, CI/CD, release planning, and cloud infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience in Ad Sales Technology, with specific expertise in planning, trafficking, and ad optimization.
  • Understanding of digital advertising and related ad tech platforms.
  • Previous experience in a remote work setting, effectively managing distributed teams.
  • Advanced comprehension of technical concepts and emerging trends in software development and technology infrastructure.
