As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in improving patient outcomes, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assume 24/7 accountability for assigned unit/s in the absence of the Nurse Manager
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Facilitate communication between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain basic nursing skills and competencies required for the specialty
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in acute care nursing
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months (if applicable)
