Job Title: Positive Support Professional
Job Summary:

About the Role:
As a Positive Support Professional, you will conduct assessments and collaborate with individuals to develop and monitor behavior support plans. You'll work directly with staff and caregivers to implement strategies, evaluate their effectiveness, and adjust plans as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Behavior Assessment: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
- Support Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans tailored to individual needs.
- Training & Collaboration: Provide instructional learning to staff and caregivers to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Plan Evaluation & Modification: Regularly assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as needed.

Requirements:
- Candidates must meet at least one of the following education and licensing requirements:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or a related field, OR a Ph.D. in behavioral sciences.
- At least 4,000 hours of post-master's clinical experience.
- Active license in psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing under relevant Minnesota statutes.
