Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Attendant to provide non-medical care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services of a non-medical nature, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
  • Support clients with mobility monitoring, medication reminders, and meal preparation.
  • Teach family members or primary caregivers how to transfer, turn, and re-position clients safely.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy client environment by following agency standards and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Be skilled at caring for others and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Have patience and compassion for elderly and/or disabled citizens.
  • Provide 2 professional references.
  • Have 6 months or more of prior direct caregiving experience, with some training provided.
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's disease is a plus.
  • Be skilled in verbal and written communication and have reliable transportation.
  • Meet background eligibility requirements.
