About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Phoenix Tank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of public works projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple projects, working closely with engineering, fabrication, and construction operations to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual issues and scheduling deficiencies, developing strategies to address these challenges.
  • Communicate day-to-day project operations and resolve conflicts/issues in a professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related problems, coordinating with city, county, and state officials, consulting engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure effective project management.
  • Provide monthly billing amounts for each project phase.
  • Exhibit confident leadership and communication skills, representing Phoenix Tank in a professional manner.
  • Manage and document credit card and general expenses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management, or related field, and five (5) or more years of project management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Project for scheduling.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Competent with oral and written communication.
  • Strong qualitative and analytical skills.
  • Exemplary organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
  • Technical aptitude to review and understand project plans and specifications.
  • Technical understanding of project-specific construction procedures.
  • Technical knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • Ability to work in a variety of conditions (office, remotely, and in field conditions while traveling).
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a clean and climate-controlled office environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate work-related travel is required, and the employee must be available for communications outside normal business hours.
