Business Insights Analyst

At Benjamin Moore, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Insights Intern to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a Business Insights Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Sales and Marketing teams by providing ad-hoc analysis, distributing standard reporting, and maintaining and updating existing reports and data sources.
Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth evaluations of marketing loyalty programs to derive insights and propose recommendations based on findings.
- Proactively analyze customer data to identify potential prospects, opportunities for engagement, and product portfolio placements.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of product results and marketing programs, collaborating with marketing to develop standard reports and key performance indicators.
- Continually deep dive into business performance, identifying data insights that lead to delivering business outcomes.
- Synthesize data, market information, and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights and business trend information.
- Organize and extract insights from secondary data sources related to paint and home improvement.
- Responsible for industry/market insights trends to help with BM sales planning/forecasting process.
- Work closely with Product Marketing to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design.
- Update and distribute reports on a weekly basis, consolidating reports, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Support and automate recurring reports to increase department and organizational efficiency.
- Manage various internal ad-hoc requests and projects to assist and support Sales Management, Marketing, and peers with on-demand analytics.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; proficiency with Business Objects and other mining tools; data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense).

The Business Insights Intern will be responsible for developing analyses, scorecards, and key performance indicators, assisting the organization with gleaning data-driven insights that lead to meaningful action.
