Job Summary

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine care for our patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications, including patient education and counseling.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to regulatory requirements and CVS Health's policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction and quality metrics.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop the skills of pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, including managing budgets and expenses.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the security of medications and other assets.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize pharmacy workflows, improving efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold a current and active pharmacy license in the state where you will be employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Be certified in immunizations through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, including a review of your immunization certification and any pending felony charges or convictions.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree: Hold a degree in pharmacy or a related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $60.00 - $73.00 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
