We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Associate to enhance our Commercial Tax Services Group. This role will involve collaboration with a dedicated team of Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners who are committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading specific client engagements
  • Reviewing and preparing tax returns (1065 & 1120 with provision) to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Developing detailed engagement work plans
  • Illustrating budgets and timelines
  • Actively participating in proposal development
  • Managing a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance feedback and coaching
  • Building respect and trust within the CohnReznick team through effective client management and clear communication

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree; a Master's in Accounting/Taxation is preferred
  • CPA, JD, or EA certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of tax experience in a public accounting environment
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong tax research and writing capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with tax compliance and research software such as Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIA
  • Solid project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
