Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to patients and support the needs of patients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Provide comfort care and other assistance
  • Appropriately and safely transfer patients
  • Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping
  • Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process
Requirements
  • BLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date

Work Environment

This position will work the following:

  • 60 hour every two weeks
  • Every Other Weekend
  • Rotating 12 Hour Shifts
  • Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:30PM
  • Overnight Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM

This position is located at St Josephs Medical Center and requires a 0.75 FTE commitment. The compensation range is $17.84 - $22.19 per hour, and the union is St Josephs SEIU Local 113 (STJSEIU).
