Job Overview

As a Merchandise Coordinator at Winston Retail Solutions, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the in-store presence of our clients through top-notch retail merchandising. This position requires collaboration with clients to understand their needs and develop effective merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement retail merchandising plans to drive sales and improve store appearance
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop strategies to meet their needs
  • Provide training and support to store personnel on merchandising best practices
  • Negotiate floor space and additional fixtures with store management
  • Utilize visual merchandising expertise to create engaging store displays
  • Take clear, high-quality photos of completed work for reporting purposes
  • Act as a liaison between Winston Retail Solutions and store personnel to build strong relationships

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail, specializing in vertical store, wholesale, or branded apparel
  • Prior experience as a merchandise coordinator in an apparel, accessory, or footwear company
  • Managerial experience in department stores, vertical retailers, or specialty stores
  • Proficient in training and presenting to small to medium-sized groups
  • Skilled in building relationships with store management across different levels
  • Well-versed in retail math

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in dressing mannequins
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and visit multiple store locations
  • Effective and timely communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, email, and digital photography)
  • Knowledge of downloading and installing applications on a smartphone
  • Capable of uploading reports, including multiple photos, to the reporting site via the app
