Director of Manufacturing Job Description

At Maintainer Corp of Iowa, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Manufacturing to lead our production operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality products, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and develop a team of managers and employees to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Implement and maintain effective production processes, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or operations management.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Required to sit and use computer, handle paperwork, and stand and use hands and fingers to grasp and hold objects, tools, and/or controls.
