Key Responsibilities- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Register property guests, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of arrivals and departures.
- Room Assignments: Select and block rooms for arriving guests, preregister individuals or groups as required, and assist with escorting VIPs and return guests to their rooms.
- Guest Information Management: Maintain accurate and organized guest information, utilizing the property management system to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Transaction Processing: Make change, cash checks, exchange foreign currency, and post charges/make adjustments to guest accounts, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reservations and Cancellations: Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of reservations staff, promoting room upgrades and monitoring product to meet goals.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions at the end of each shift, cash out, and maintain a balanced bank, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
- Guest Services: Assist individuals and groups with check-in, checkout, and room changes, working closely with bell and door staff to coordinate efficient handling of luggage and follow up on guest requests.
- Communication and Teamwork: Greet guests in all public areas, answer questions, handle requests, and offer directions as needed, maintaining positive and professional communication with all staff.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for coworkers and guests, participating in meetings to learn about global programs, new products, and procedures.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required, with a Secondary school degree preferred. Previous work experience in service for at least 2 years is preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Communication and Language: Ability to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate information and ideas.
- Mathematical Operations: Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing.
- Software Applications: Strong command of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (MICROS Opera, Sabre/SYNXIS, Delphi, SUN, etc.).
The Tribal Council gives first preference in all of its employment practices to members of the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe who meet the job requirements.
