Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Case Manager to join our team at Mike Hostilo Law. As a key member of our client services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their cases are managed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication
    • Proactively make weekly follow-up calls to clients to provide case status updates and address any concerns they may have.
    • Respond promptly to all incoming client calls, addressing their concerns and seeking answers from the legal team as needed.
  • Case Documentation
    • Collaborate with clients to gather all relevant bills, records, and documents related to their case.
    • Prepare each case for settlement negotiations, documenting all relevant information for review by the paralegal and attorney.
    • Generate and send required correspondence, such as requests for bills and records, MedPay letters, and Subrogation letters, etc.
  • Case Management
    • Institute effective time management and organization strategies to manage assigned caseload and coordinate resources.
    • Communicate with team members and other departments regarding case-related information in a timely manner.
    • Interact with medical providers, adjusters, and other third parties to gather relevant information and inform next steps.
    • Draft case-specific courses of action in concert with Associate Attorneys to address potential conflicts or concerns with clients.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking is preferred.
  • Two years' relevant experience in a professional, customer-centric role required; professional experience in a legal environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and understand basic medical records and terminology required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools required; knowledge of Case Management software (e.g., Filevine) preferred.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail in all tasks performed, with a focus on documenting all relevant aspects of a case.
  • Proactively communicates proficiently and collaboratively both verbally and in writing with clients, internal team members, and third parties.
  • Maintains exceptionally high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Takes ownership of work and demonstrates commitment to quality in every task performed.
