Program Overview

Amgen's US Value and Access Program Internship is a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience in the biotechnology industry. As an intern, you will work closely with our US Value and Access leaders to develop valuable skills and knowledge in pricing, reimbursement, and contracting strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative pricing/contracting analyses to support pricing decisions
  • Develop financial, technical, and analytical skills through meaningful projects
  • Support strategic planning and forecasting for multiple products within a Business Unit
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including regular touchpoints with manager and teammates

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
  • Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduation in either December 2025 or Summer 2026
  • Major or Concentration in Economics, Business Administration, Biotechnology Management, Statistics, Accounting, or Finance
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic financial analytical principles
