As a renowned upscale eatery, we seek a seasoned Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee Daily Kitchen Operations: Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure timely service and consistent food quality.
  2. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance and a positive work environment.
  3. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create seasonal menus that reflect customer preferences and market trends.
  4. Inventory & Ordering: Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
  5. Cost Control: Manage food costs and waste, implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, and optimize labor costs.
  6. Food Safety & Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  7. Catering & Special Events: Coordinate catering services for events and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  8. Customer Experience: Address customer inquiries and feedback to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  9. Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to regular cleaning and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a kitchen management role, with experience in high-volume, upscale dining.
  • Certifications: NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate required.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for motivating and developing a team.
  • Operational Efficiency: Experience in managing kitchen operations, food costs, inventory, and waste management.
  • Bilingual: A plus, but not required.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for Quality: A dedication to maintaining high food quality, presentation, and exceptional customer service.
