DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide high-quality patient care in a mobile laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to provide patient care and support.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs.
- Perform IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law.
- Apply splints and provide wound care.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment.
- Perform EKGs and assist NP/PAs with daily functions in a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Stock and maintain the vehicle with necessary supplies before and after shifts.
Requirements:
- Medical Technician certification with a Basic Certification or EMT License (hiring credential only).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- BLS, American Heart Association certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
