Key Responsibilities of the Culinary Specialist:

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes, which involves working at the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line;
  • Ensure accurate preparation, portioning, and serving of meals according to the menu cycle and standardized recipes;
  • Taste and assess food to ensure quality and flavor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a senior living environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of production techniques, portion control, and food safety practices is essential
  • Excellent organizational skills are necessary
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and presentation of food is crucial
  • Availability to work on weekends is required.
