The Senior Financial Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, including consolidations, journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations, as well as providing audit support. This position may also involve contributing to various accounting and reporting tasks or special projects as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in accounting or auditing.
  • CPA certification or eligibility is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of GAAP financial statements and associated disclosures, along with supporting schedules.
  • Execution of accounting entries, including eliminations, non-controlling interests, and lease accounting.
  • Reviewing preliminary trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets to ensure accuracy.
  • Conducting monthly and quarterly analytics as assigned, including variance research.
  • Handling additional ad-hoc tasks as necessary.
  • Engaging in various projects and assignments related to technical accounting, business acquisitions, system improvements, etc.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS general ledger is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Workiva software is a plus.
