Position Summary
The Assessment Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering direct nursing care to our residents. This position is hourly and reports directly to the Director of Health and Wellness.

Work Schedule: Per-diem

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive resident assessments in compliance with current state regulations and community guidelines.
  • Oversee the health, safety, and overall well-being of all residents.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of medication administration practices.
  • Ensure clinical quality assurance in alignment with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service to our residents while embodying the mission of Monarch Spring Meadows.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN license.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings is preferred.
  • Experience with residents diagnosed with Alzheimer's or related dementias is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations, as well as nursing practices and techniques related to health and wellness.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with a willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, and using fine and gross motor skills. The role may involve lifting or carrying weights up to 50 lbs, and proper body mechanics must be utilized.
