We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical RN Coordinator to join our Same Day Surgery team at Centennial Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pre-op and PACU units.
Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during designated shifts.
- Function as a resource person for staff members and assist in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
- Make decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required on hire.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Activity in professional organizations encouraged.
- Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of SAME DAY SURGERY or critical care preferred.
- Six months leadership/management experience is required.
