About the Role

As a pivotal member of the team, you will assist in managing various facets of a Commercial Real Estate portfolio, encompassing marketing strategies, operational oversight, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address tenant inquiries and ensure that both administrative and technical teams resolve issues efficiently. Services must align with established policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • At the discretion of property ownership, promote the property by showcasing available spaces to potential tenants. Facilitate tenant transitions and coordinate walkthroughs with the tenant improvement team.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with property owners to guarantee that objectives are achieved. Prepare and present comprehensive reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage rent collection and oversee expense payments in accordance with lease agreements. Generate accounts receivable aging reports and initiate actions to address tenant delinquencies, including preparing necessary legal notices.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and recommend necessary alterations, maintenance, and refurbishments.
  • Review and endorse vendor invoices for accurate payment on behalf of property owners, ensuring compliance with management agreements and internal policies.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for operational and capital expenditures, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of the property/portfolio. Prepare monthly performance reports and explain any variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate tenant billing and coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Support the production of research data related to budget items and assist in entering budget data into reports.
  • Fulfill all responsibilities outlined in the Manager job description during their absence.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Property Management.
  • A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience or training.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in financial terminology and principles, with the capability to perform basic financial analyses.
  • Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills are essential.
