Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer is a key leadership position at Farmers State Bank, responsible for overseeing the bank's financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, banking regulations, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop a team of financial professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for financial planning and budgeting.
• Lead and develop a team of financial professionals, including accountants, analysts, and other support staff.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the bank's financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a CPA designation preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of financial professionals.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop recommendations for financial planning and budgeting.
