Job Overview

The Thomas Talent Network is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Assistant in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile monthly credit card transactions and out-of-pocket expenses processed through our expense reporting system.
  • Create accounts payable payment journals for EFT payment processing and assist with payment vouchers and troubleshooting.
  • Review payment requests submissions from internal teams and set up new vendor accounts in our ERP system.
  • Support inquiries and training on our external/internal accounting systems.
  • Assist with updates to daily cashbook and bank reconciliation, as well as prepare weekly cash flow reports and monthly cash balance reports.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in industry roles. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per annum, reflecting the current market rate for a similar role in Toronto, Ontario.
