Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Rehabilitation Liaison to join our team at Atrium Health. This role will be responsible for increasing referrals through sales and marketing efforts, as well as performing pre-admission screens on potential rehabilitation clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our rehabilitation services to referral sources.
  • Perform sales and marketing calls with potential and current referral sources to educate them about our services.
  • Collaborate with nurse managers and therapy coordinators to devise a marketing strategy for each individual territory and track progress.
  • Foster communication and collaboration with physicians, employees, patients, families, and referral sources to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide health teaching and/or in-services to referral sources and facilitate orientation to promote referrals.
  • Conduct admission screens to determine the functional status of potential rehabilitation clients and assess their appropriateness for our program.
  • Utilize the information gathered in the screening process to establish a baseline for treatment planning and coordinate orientation of patients and families to our rehabilitation program.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensed or certified clinician required, such as RN, PT, OT, SLP, NP, or PA.
  • Valid driver's license and a vehicle to conduct travel.
  • Public relations skills and experience in acute care hospital or rehab setting, marketing, and communication.
Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent car travel, walking, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Must have the ability to move about to accomplish tasks and clearly express and exchange ideas via spoken and written English.
