Position Overview:
We are seeking an Aircraft Assembly Technician for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client. This role requires expertise in assembling aircraft structures and components, ensuring high productivity and quality standards.

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with the potential for extensions or conversion to a permanent role. The position is onsite and offers competitive pay based on experience.

Shift Information:
Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Compensation:
$24.04/hr for 1-3 years of experience
$28.11/hr for 3-6 years of experience
$32.86/hr for 6+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute complex assembly tasks, fitting detail parts, and installation across various manufacturing processes, including sealant application, fastener installation, electrical harnessing, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure that all assembly work meets or exceeds the specified requirements.
- Perform drilling and riveting operations with minimal supervision, maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in training and mentoring of new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to the company's 5S program.
- Complete required training and certification for internal aircraft process specifications.

Qualifications:
- Experience in exterior and structural work on aircraft is essential.
- A&P certification or related licensure is highly preferred.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, work orders, and process specifications.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong work ethics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required, with no restrictions on travel credentials.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, heat, and aircraft-related odors.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs with appropriate assistance.
- Must maintain a high level of alertness and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
