Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Department Administrator to join our team at the Department of Otolaryngology. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, including personnel management, financial planning, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all personnel issues for the department, including appointment and salary package development for faculty and non-faculty staff.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for the department.
  • Collaborate with the Department Director and other leaders to coordinate medical and non-medical policies and practices.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Seven years of progressively responsible professional-level administrative and financial experience related to monetary or non-monetary resources of a department, center, or unit, including two years of financial management experience.
  • Master's degree in a related field may substitute for required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, MHA, MPH, or Master's degree in another related field.
  • Supervisory experience.
