Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Administrator to join our team in the Hematologic Malignancies/Bone Marrow Transplant Program (HMBMT) and Pediatric Oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Division Directors and Oncology Administration, overseeing planning, administration, business development, JHH hospital operations, and faculty clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the program, including business plans for existing units or potential new business opportunities.
  • Assess the market, locally, regionally, and nationally to understand how the Johns Hopkins program ranks in terms of reputation, volume, and best practices.
  • Understand the Maryland health care reimbursement environment, and the national reimbursement environment, including global pricing, in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins Health Care managed care team.
  • Provide direct oversight of administrative and operational activities of the Program, including human resource management, staff structure, capabilities, and development.
  • Manage the clinical practice across clinical locations, including JHH ambulatory, inpatient, IPOP, GSS, and Sibley, ensuring effective and efficient provider workflows and tools to accomplish clinical practice goals and objectives.
  • Implement policies and develop tools and procedures to meet or exceed key performance indicators defined by Clinical Practice Association, JHH leadership, and Program leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Seven years progressively responsible professional-level administrative and financial experience related to monetary or non-monetary resources of a department, center, or unit, including two years supervisory experience and two years financial management experience.
