Position Overview

We are looking for a Security Administrator to provide essential support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as a transformative force in space acquisition within the Department of Defense, SDA is responsible for delivering space-based capabilities to support terrestrial missions through the development, deployment, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA utilizes a distinctive business model that emphasizes speed and cost-efficiency by leveraging commercial development to achieve a resilient and proliferated architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • The primary role of the Security Administrator is to deliver multi-faceted security support for one or more of the client's Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral programs.
  • Conduct daily multi-disciplinary analyses for SCI and collateral activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, and ICD policy.
  • Provide daily administrative security support, including clearance processing, building access approvals, and document control.
  • Conduct SCI Indoctrination briefings and training for new and existing personnel, and coordinate security debriefings as necessary.
  • Oversee SCIFs, safes, and respond to after-hours alarms as required.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing clearance request packages.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 additional years of relevant experience).
  • A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a willingness to engage actively with colleagues, program leadership, and clients, which may include delivering presentations.
