Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at Rudd Equipment Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching field operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and dispatch field service activities to diagnose, repair, and service customer equipment.
  • Manage and schedule field service operations to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and technical questions, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Monitor and communicate with customers regarding the status of service calls and any additional requirements.
  • Record and maintain accurate files and records of customer requests, work performed, charges, and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements through regular monitoring and reporting.
  • Prepare equipment repair quotations and open and monitor service/repair work orders for accuracy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in the construction and mining equipment industry, with a focus on product support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office operating systems and ability to learn new software.
Work Environment

This role operates in an office environment, with frequent travel to customer sites. The successful candidate will be required to work independently, making key decisions on behalf of the location, and will be expected to maintain open communication with their manager.
