About the Role:
The Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our senior living and services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall success of our organization, including financial, regulatory, resident satisfaction, care quality, and stewardship of our physical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of over 200 staff members in Independent Living, Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing.
- Develop and implement policies, objectives, and activities to ensure continuing operations and quality.
- Direct, plan, or implement budgetary control systems, recordkeeping systems, or other administrative control processes.
- Negotiate or approve contracts or agreements with suppliers, distributors, or other organizational entities.
- Develop and oversee marketing, sales, and admission plans and processes to meet budgeted occupancy and service expectations.
- Implement and oversee risk management strategies and plans.
- Establish relationships with the Village Board of Trustees and community partners.
- Lead and participate in fundraising strategies and campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Aging Services, Hospitality, or Health Care Management required, or experience commensurate with a graduate degree.
- Five to seven years in health care management, at a senior executive level, preferably including experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living memory care, and/or independent housing.
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator certification a plus.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours needed to accomplish goals.
