Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As the Aquatics Program Supervisor, you will:
  • Assist in the development and management of aquatic programs and activities.
  • Support the Aquatics Director in overseeing the daily operations of the Aquatic Department.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor lifeguards and swim instructors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and certifications.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of aquatic staff to maintain optimal coverage for all programs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of the aquatic team.
  • Ensure the maintenance and safety of all aquatic facilities and equipment.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Current certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid.
  • A minimum of 1,500 hours of experience in aquatic programming, including supervisory roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions:
This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects and perform aquatic rescues. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and be prepared to engage with a diverse community.
