Program Coordinator for Surgical Simulation

We are seeking a Program Coordinator to provide administrative project oversight of a narrower scope under the direction of a supervisor. This position will be in support of the Uniformed Services University Department of Surgery's Enhancing Warfighter Survivability by Investing in Military Medicine Surgical Team Skills program.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to award/funding terms and conditions; assist with report completion and submission.
  • Monitor study performance, analyze results, and assist with protocol development and implementation.
  • Coordinate simulation training logistics, including reserving environments, preparing equipment, and ordering cadavers.
  • Communicate with internal staff and external customers; negotiate with vendors and obtain quotes for equipment.
  • Provide administrative support, such as recruiting, purchasing, and tracking progress.
  • Assist in overseeing data collection, maintenance, analysis, and evaluation used in grant submissions, presentations, and publications.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with research administration and data management is preferred.
