As a nurse in our physician office setting, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurate assessments of patients, consistently performed and completed efficiently
- Accurate documentation of the continuum of care
- Consistently demonstrating safe and accurate technical skills
- Demonstrating competency in the performance of all procedures routinely performed in the office
- Routinely demonstrating proper technique in operating all office/medical equipment
- Triaging of patients is accurate and complies with instructions rendered by provider
- Demonstrating competency in providing quality patient care
- Accurately following provider directions
- Handling all specimens using proper technique
- Correctly labeling and processing specimens
- Ensuring proper preparation of specimens for lab courier transfer to Lab
- Conscious of biohazard safety as it relates to the job; manual delivery of specimens to lab, changing of gloves between patients
- Handling specimens using proper techniques, correctly labeling for transfer to lab
- Routinely performing all nursing duties using appropriate PPE and in accordance with OSHA standards
- Performing all job duties within the scope of practice and the organization's policies/procedures
- Performing all other duties as assigned
