Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and competent direct patient care under the guidance of experienced nursing staff. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate documentation of patient responses. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote wellness and prevent complications.
Requirements:
Valid/Active Registered Nurse license (must be obtained prior to start date). Successful completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Diploma Nursing Program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association is required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are beneficial. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (unit dependent).
