Psychiatric Care Specialist

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Care Specialist to join our team at Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of general psychiatry and the ability to detect, analyze, and interpret clinical symptoms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient psychiatric care
- Conduct daily rounds
- Maintain standards of psychiatric care and treatment
Requirements:
- Graduation from a medical school of recognized standing
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency in psychiatry
- Must meet established requirements of the Rhode Island Department of Health to practice medicine in Rhode Island
Additional Requirements:
- Must hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Rhode Island
- Must be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology eligible or Board certified in psychiatry
